We want what's best for baby. After all, the food we eat is our baby's only source of nutrition. For this reason, we strive to make smart choices that will help with our baby's growth and development. This means eating whole grains, plenty of fruits and vegetables (especially dark green vegetables), protein-rich foods, and by consuming dairy or calcium fortified soy to promote strong bones for our child. We want our bodies to be strong and healthy vessels for our children.

My wife is expecting our first child and is currently 3 days late. Anybody have any good ideas on how to get labor started? We would hate to have to induce. Thanks and wish me (err... my wife) luck!
After being pregnant for seven and a half months, I am looking for some snack and meal ideas that are filling but not too carb-heavy. Thanks!
My wife and I are expecting a child in December and have started planning the nursary. We don't want to know the sex of the child so picking color schemes is tricky. We were thinking primary colors but aren't sure. Does anyone have any ideas for good color schemes that won't just be a series of greens and tans?
I'm crazy about Craisins! My wife has currently 9 months pregnant and thus far her only quasi-weird food combination is Craisins and salted, almonds... something about the combination of sweet craisins with the salty almonds. I thought cranberries were tart thus would nullify the sweetness but what do I know? I ain't pregnant...
These are a satisfying salty snack that are relatively low in fat. When I'm in the office and experiencing one of the those late-afternoon slumps, I TRY to limit myself to a handful or so. But sometimes I find myself eating more than just a handful...
This is a must-have for those in their first trimester. I have the little cans in my desk at work and big bottles in my fridge at home. It makes a huge difference during those queasy moments.
