Pet Lovers

We love our pets, and they love us. We want the best for our favorite dog or cat, fish or bird. Pet food is sadly not always dependable, and just like we take care of what we eat, we want our devoted little friends to have the best food to munch on.

  • Knowing the pet tells us a lot about the person, right? So tell us how you decided your pets name and why you have grown to love the adorable little bundle. I'll start. My cat is named Abe, not for the politician but for the bible character. We found him behind a church in Camarillo, CA while visiting our daughter. Since we got him so young he bonded with us and believes he is human. Cute? Yes and no but we love him lots. Your turn!!

  • Does anyone here every buy Pet Food in Bulk? I found this awesome marketplace the other day where they were selling pet food without the packaging and it was super cheap! They had everything from Birdseed to Guinea Pig Food and Pet food. I thought it was pretty awesome (and a great way to cut down on costs).

  • My dog Molly has recently started sleeping on my or my wife's pillow at night. This can be quite annoying as she not only takes up a lot of space and gives off tons of heat but she pants right on your face. My wife suggested that this might be a sign of her trying to exude dominance over us. Anyone have an opinion on this? Note that she is a 19 lb Pekignese and is the most gentle dog in the world.

  • Science Diet Light, Adult (1- 6 Years) Cat Food

My cat has been on a diet for almost a year and has subsequently been eating this since; she still has junk in the trunk so I'm not really sure how much it's working. It's pretty expensive so I'm wondering if there's something else out there that would be low cal that she would like?
