While it isn't always easy, we love our fruits and vegetables and don't eat meat. Some of us eat dairy and egg products, finding these and other ways to supply the protein and nutrients our bodies need.

So I keep encountering turnips at my local grocery store -- it's one of those vegetables that I always wanted to try out, but I have no clue what to do with them. Any recipes you'd recommend for a vegetarian?
My oven is out of commission at present (don't ask), so I am looking for something that is stovetop-friendly.
It's almost BBQ time! I'd like to provide my veggie friends (And myself) with some awesome Veggie Burgers. What's my best bet? Is there a fool-proof veggie burger recipe or should I stick to store bought veggie burgers & veggie dogs? If so, what veggie burger/dog do you recommend for me to purchase?

As a new recruit to the Vegetarian lifestyle I was amazed at the quality of this "Chik 'n". About halfway through eating the cutlet I had to get up and make sure I read the packaging correctly.
This product has so much grape and apple juice that the cranberry is undetectable. I would not recommend it to anyone, as it is as expensive as the other available cranberry juice blends, while the company has clearly cut costs by nearly omitting cranberry juice from the blend altogether. Shame on them!
I usually make my own hummus ( I like mine chunky) however this is (all of their varieties) the best store brought hummus I have had.
