I've always loved mac and cheese, any brand really. But i really think that this mac and cheese is sooooo much better than any normal macaroni. If prepared to the directions than the cheese will come out a little runny and powdery. I always add extra fat to the sauce either extra butter or cheese. The noodles are made from rice and stay al dente even with some over cooking. I would really eat this even if I wasn't GF.
To me, this product is amazing for what it is. If you miss kraft mac & cheesey comfort food, this is the best gluten free version that I've found. The sauce has a powdery texture/taste, but the key is to add a little shredded extra sharp cheddar when you are making the sauce and it ends up creamy and tasting a LOT like Kraft... or what I remember of Kraft mac & cheese.
