Coke Zero Cherry and original Coke Zero are the only sodas I drink! They don't have the artificially-sweet aftertaste that Diet Coke (and other diet sodas) have. It does closely approximate the taste of Coke Classic, but is certainly not identical, as Coke Classic is sweeter overall.

I must admit that this product does a pretty good job of mimicking regular coke with significantly less calories. But for some reason it tastes salty to me. It does have 2% of your daily sodium intake per can but I think this is probably in my head.

I think the Coke Zero rocks! I don't get it either but Diet Coke is way worse and tastes like metal.... :(

Is this product still on the shelf?

Man oh man, the days of college when my two feet carried me around one of the largest university campuses in the US. I could drink Coke and Cherry Coke without batting an eye.

And now, now the kid lives the office life, and the occasional pantsoffdanceoff can't steer him away from dropping useless calories.

Thank you aspartame. Not so much for your potential neurotoxic health risks, but more for your ability to create a damn-close replica of Cherry Coke sans sugar.

Because of the NutraSweet controversy, rumor has it Coca Cola is going to use a stevia based sweetener in its diet products as of 2009. Let's hope they keep this formula.
