• From the maker

  Well-balanced and crisp, the delicious Fume Blanc is produced from selected Sauvignon Blanc grapes harvested... in several vineyard locations. These varied grape sources give the wine lush melon and fig flavors complemented by light herbal aromas with hints of wildflowers. Partial barrel fermentation, extended lees contact, and French oak aging add a rich lingering finish. Wonderful as an aperitif, this Fume Blanc is also an exceptional match with pasta, shellfish, and chicken dishes. Alcohol 13.8% by Volume.

  Here is a great little Fume Blanc that now comes with a screw top. It's got a little drinkable refreshing taste. We love to have a small glass after work. Lovely.

    This is a nice wine. I visited Ferrari-Carano in Sonoma, and it is an absolutely beautiful setting surrounded by hills. Much nicer than Clos Dubois which was down the road. I also liked their 2002 Chardonnay.
