"Peanut Butter Fiber Snack"
2 tablespoons in half cup of Soy milk or any milk. Microwave for 45 seconds. Mix in the 1/2 cup of fiber one cereal, might need more milk to make it creamy. great for a snack or breakfast with some fruit.
"Horse food," "Rabbit poo" and "Twigs One" are just some of the delightfully creative names i've heard used to describe this cereal. I'll agree that it doesn't LOOK appetizing. I think, though, that sometimes visually unappealing food really gets a bad rap for the wrong reason. This is the case with Fiber one. You can't argue that it's not nutritionally sound. It's also really tasty with some milk and fruit. I find that it's also filling.
Would I prefer to eat Captain Crunch? Well, duh. Let's be honest- it's not going to take the place of your beloved sugary cereal, but if you are looking for a healthy alternative that tastes quite good, Fiber One is where it's at.
Here is how FIBER ONE helped me to lose 20 pounds
I was in Santorini, Greece last year and went to a little market to get breakfast for our family. By accident I picked up FAGE Yogurt. Since I speak a little Greek, the woman at the register raved about FAGE and she was right. Then I found it at Stop and Shop and Shaws in the USA. I began a diet this January and have lost 20 pounds and FAGE 0% is the key to my diet. For breakfast, every morning, I eat FIBER ONE CEREAL and FAGE 0%. It fills me up till noon. Also instead of ice cream at night, I have fruit with FAGE 2% Yogurt.
Instead of snacks, I keep a box of FIBER ONE under my desk a work and grab a handful during the work day.
My wife says it looks like rabbit pellets and refuses to eat it. Not me, I am a big fan.
Only half a cup gives you 14 g's of f i b e r. Even I conceded that I could get down with some milk. Then I tried it without holding my nose and found that I actually liked it. It is modestly sweet without any sugar
