Back in 1867, our great-great grandfather, Jacob Leinenkugel, saw an opportunity in a small Northwoods logging community and founded his brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. This Fall, we are honored to celebrate the season and the traditional German celebration known as Oktoberfest by brewing a limited number of barrels of Leinenkugel's Oktoberfest. It's a traditional German Marzen bier brewed with 2-Row Pale brewers malt, Caramel and Munich malts. These barley malts give Leinie's Oktoberfest a rich, hearty character and deep amber color. Aromatic Tettnanger and Perle hops provide a well-balanced, smooth, drinkable finish perfect for Fall and Oktoberfest celebrations.
