Aplets and Cotlets, and the various other Liberty Orchard fruit variations, are a very delicious, authentic, American-made Turkish Delight (Rahat Lokum), and a local specialty of Washington state. The family-owned company was founded by Armenian immigrants about 100 years ago.
If, like me, you like sweets that aren't too, too sweet, you will appreciate these.
Aplets and Cotlets have a sweet, fruity flavor, and a smooth consistency, with a slight crunch of walnuts. They are chewy, but not sticky.
