Although I agree that these are certainly tasty considering they have no meat, I can't agree that they're better than the real thing. But if you're trying to be healthy (only 1.7 points per serving!) and can't fully give up the unhealthy things like sausage, then I highly recommend this. I like 'em a little burnt... gives them more of a smokey flavor!
Better than the real thing! I know, I know, you're thinking to yourself...that's not possible...you CAN'T make veggie sausage better than the real stuff, with real pigs...but it's true. I'm totally addicted to this stuff, I throw two in the microwave for 1 minute and whammo...sausagy delights. It's so tasty I feel like I'm getting away with something. I've even fed 'em to committed carnivores...everyone loves it.
