Not the best soymilk but pretty good still.

I tend to stay away from Soy products mostly because the risk of GMO is very great in the U.S. I like Almond milk.

All of Silk's soymilk products are great, especially considering you can find them anywhere (even Target). I agree that the vanilla soymilk is very sweet, but it gives the perfect hint of sugary goodness to more bland cereals like corn flakes, and is also quite nice in coffee.

It has too sweet a taste. It tastes like a ton of sugar has been added.

Here's what I love about Silk Vanilla Soymilk: it's my dairy-allergic child's favorite soy beverage, you can find it ANYWHERE (even in the small grocery stores in our little town), and it's fortified with all of the nutrients she needs.

It seems forever ago, I discovered I am lactose intolerant. Soy milk has provided my temptation for milk in cereal as well as an additive to other things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, etc. This product is great, although too much consumption can lead to allergies. It is also not recommended for people with a history of cancer. I have actually stopped a lot of consumption of Soy milk and replaced it with Almond drink.

I don't hate the product, but it's definitely strongly flavored. It's OK to drink just a little bit here and there -- I could never drink an entire glass of it like I would regular milk because of the intense flavor.

I've tried it on cereal, too, and the vanilla flavor just seems so... wrong. Milk shouldn't taste like vanilla, it should taste like milk. I agree with a previous reviewer that it reminds me of coffee flavoring.

Everyone else has review it so..... my wife loves it and I took a taste once. It made me like what the cow does even more. Yes, it's ok for what it is. But seriously, GOT MILK!

Best soymilk on the market (that I've tried), hands down. The flavor is not beany and has a lovely vanilla taste. It is great on cereal or fruit. I love that it doesn't have the chalky sediment in the bottom, probably because it's fresh and not one of those in the aceptic packaging. Most of the soymilk brands I've had are in aceptic packaging.

For a while we were only drinking Silk at home, but have switched to organic cow milk because my 5 year old LOVES it. I do prefer the Silk.

Although not lactose intolerant, I prefer vanilla soymilk over regular milk with my cereal (especially honey nut cheerios with blueberrries). yummy!

    Yes, it's really great

This is my new favorite soy milk, yes because I'm kinda a wuss and still sometimes struggle with the flavor of plain soymilk.

I love the vanilla because for some reason, the Silk chocolate soy milk is just too... chocolate for me? Yes, that sounds crazy, but the vanilla is tasty and when mixed in with your coffee or cereal is divine.

I felt like I was going to have a strong aversion to this, as I try some soy milk in my coffee from time to time and it makes the coffee "completely disgusting".

However, after applying a healthy amount of this soy milk to my "START SMART" cereal (both cinnamon raisin and maple brown sugar flavor), I am pleased to announce that it actually tastes better to me than actual milk.

Also, my ass doesn't explode 45 minutes later. That's where the 5 stars comes from.

Maybe because I was raised on chocolate chip cookies in milk, I still haven't made the soy milk jump completely, but I'm trying to cut back on dairy, so soy milk, here I am, in the immortal words of the Scorpions, rock me like a hurricane.

I'm not a huge fan of drinking straight soy milk YET, but I must admit, this soy milk is quite scrumptious over granola or cereal with clusters of pecans, walnuts, and other nuts. Because of Silk, I hardly ever drink milk now in the morning! I'm not familiar with other varieties of Soymilk, but I have to say that Silk really made my first taste of soy milk quite pleasurable.

I absolutely love this soymilk poured over granola in the morning toppped with blueberries. YUM!

I would like it - although I like the unsweetened more - but have been reading lots of negative press about soybeans - the pseudo-hormones, digestive issues, and common allergen. Oh well.

  • 4028814618f62aa30118f71e63d90019 true discussion

I love Silk soy milk, but vanilla is too sweet for me. Although it's probably good if you don't like the taste of soy naturally

The "light "vanilla variety isn't bad, either

I'm such a huge fan of vanilla soy milk with some sort of healthy cereal. It really adds some flavor but keeps breakfast healthy at the same time!

It's not as though I'm lactose intolerant, it's just that this product tastes so good. It is a definite staple in my diet.

    It's great on oatmeal.

This is great for flavoring plain coffee, but is a little strong to drink alone or to put in cereal.
