I'm also a Skippy man although I go back and forth between the chunky vs. smooth debate. Sometimes you need a little grit in there to remind you its from peanuts (kinda like pulp OJ) but the chunky stuff does tend to rip the bread. On a side note, my brother's name is Scott (he's on Zeer too... just checkout my friends list) and he went by the nickname of Skippy although high school. He used to wear this T-shirt with a picture of Skippy's PB that said "Skippy, spread the fun!"... always gave me a chuckle.
Skippy was the only brand I ate as a kid. As an adult, when baking I have found skippy bakes up the best PB cookies. Other brands actually have too much sugar causing the cookie to burn on the bottom. Skippy totally makes my PB recipe - in fact I usually double the amount of PB. I buy the BIGGEST size since I bake dozens and dozens of cookies. It's nice to have Skippy in the cupboard for that Ritz cracker & PB snack craving every now and then!
