Nutrition at a Glance: Kellogg is committed to bringing our Best To You! and your family. This guide is designed to help you make informed choices. It represents the nutrients in our products and the contribution they make to your Guideline Daily Amounts (GDAs). Find a good balance with breakfast! Good nutrition is all about balance, variety and moderation. Our At a Glance tool takes key nutrient information from the side panel and puts it on the front of the box, so that you can stay informed about what you are eating and decide what's right for you and your family. What are GDAs? GDA stands for Guideline Daily Amount. GDAs are based on a 2,000 calorie diet, just like Daily Values (DVs) on the Nutrition Facts Panel. GDAs are benchmark values to help guide you toward the daily amounts suggested for a balanced diet. Nutrition at a Glance shows you what's in a serving of the Kellogg's cereal and the percentage it contributes to the GDA for the entire day. No percentage for sugar is given since the % DV for sugars has not been established. The Institute of Medicine suggests that less than 25% of daily calories come from added sugars to help minimize the consumption of foods with empty calories (IOM, 2002/2005). For a 2,000 calorie diet, this would equal 125 g of added sugar per day. Start your day with a delicious bowl of Kellogg's cereal and you'll benefit from its nutrients. That's right, research shows that breakfast is linked to having a healthy body weight. Breakfast eaters have healthier body weights than those who skip breakfast. In fact, studies show eating cereal as part of a nutritious breakfast is important for both children and adults to promote healthy weight. Best to You! Exchange: 1 1/2 Carbohydrates. I absolutely love this cereal, have it every morning. I am trying to lower my intake of sugar and this really helps.

I really enjoyed this cereal at first. I poured a bowl from the package and was absolutely amazed at the number of red berries. Then my boyfriend poured a bowl for himself that consisted of one berry and a pile of Special K. All of the red berries apparently came out in my bowl. Not cool. They definitely need to add more fruit to this cereal. If they do, than I'd consider it a winner.

Definitely one of my favorite cereals. I eat it almost every morning before going to the gym and one serving actually fills me up (though trust me, I could eat lots more!). Very flavorful with lots of vitamins. It's kind of pricey in most grocery stores, but most cereals are. And it's well worth it!
