i eat boca a lot - and im not a vegetarian. its healthy, quick, and pretty darned delicious. As long as you don't go into it thinking its gonna taste like an all-beef patty, i think you'll enjoy. a minute in the microwave, and you're done. load it with toppings (my fave is, salsa, lettuce, tomato, onion, and an EGG for extra protein and deliciousness). Its a great quick meal, espicially for WW people - 1 point per patty (warning, that does NOT apply to all flavors of boca). Also, friendly tip - if you buy boca wholesale at BJs or Costco, the bigber boxes contain actual bigger patties, and somehow, they are also more delicious (still 1 point). I can't explain it.
I have only tried the salsa flavor of these. went for them because they were pretty decent, health wise, and i loves a good crackersnack. the cracker itself was tasty - i'd expect no less quality from pepperige farm. but the flavoring spices left something to be desired - spicy, but no real flavor. I think i'd like the plain ones, with a dip, or maybe they will come up with a better flavoring.
I swear by these. I am a nacho addict from way back, and when I got my health on track, this was one of my first quests - to find a delicious chip i wouldnt have to feel terrible about eating. 2 WW points, for 15 chips! the best i've found, certainly the best without comprimising flavor, and they arent even labeled low fat/cal. This was a great find for me. and I love buying organic, so its a double bonus!
Where do you go for new and creative recipes you can trust? I have been using weightwatchers.com etools there for some time (and WOW, there are a lot of recipes there), but would be really interested to find more go-to recipe sites, magazines, books, etc.
