    Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix

I was skeptical that the cake would rise like it is shown in the picture, but BC proved me wrong! This cake looks, feels, and tastes like a "normal" gluten laden cake. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to cut the cake in half and actually be able to put frosting in the middle of it. Most GF cakes do not rise enough to be able to do that with - you have to buy 2 mixes and make 2 cakes. Now, I did bake it in an 8" pan. Maybe with the 9" you would not be able to do that.

I have also made my own German chocolate cake with this mix by adding a bar of German chocolate to the batter and that did not compromise the consistancy of the cake at all. It was still moist and springy.

My friends and family who are not Celiacs did not even know this cake was gluten free and they all
... loved it. They were shocked that the cake was from a box and was also gluten free.

    Thank you BC!!

    Betty Crocker Chocolate Brownie Mix

Not as good as my GF brownies made from scratch, but for a box mix these brownies come very close!! Very easy to make and they taste just like "regular" brownies. But, they won't last long because they are so good - so be sure to have another box on hand in case you want to make a batch for yourself!
