Gross. There is an overwhelming artificial flavor when you bite into these crackers. I can't quite describe the flavor, other than it reminds me of the fake flavor of the Lay's Salt & Vinegar chips, its just too much. I couldn't really identify any real rosemary flavor in them at all. I have a friend who really likes them, but I find the overwhelming flavors to be a turn off.
These are another favorite of mine for satisfying a sugar craving without reaching for candy. They are sweet and chewy, and the crunching of all of the little seeds provides a certain sort of satisfaction while I eat them. They also serve as entertainment for the next 20 minutes or so, as you try to get all of the little seeds out of your teeth after eating them. Like pitted dates, these guys pack in fiber and a few trace vitamins/minerals, along with being a very satisfying snack for a sweet tooth.
I'm up to my elbows in a bag of these as I write this review. These are one of my favorite foods when I have an intense sugar craving but don't want to stuff myself with just empty calories. These dates, to me, taste like little parcels of butter cream frosting. They are extra sugary sweet tasting and chewy. Just a quarter cup of these babies is considered a serving of fruit, and has 4 grams of fiber. Not recommended for someone who is trying to watch their sugar consumption.
