    Smart Balance Buttery Spread

    Star No Star No Star No Star No Star

    We bought this product because it looked like a healthier spread than the competing products available in our grocery store. It has a nice buttery taste to it, but a major drawback we discovered is that its impossible to spread just out of the fridge, even on just out of the toaster hot toast. We're back using the ubiquitous Shedd's Country Crock margarine for now.

    Hudsonville Black Cherry Ice Cream

    I absolutely love Hudsonville ice cream in general. Its a very rich and creamy ice cream that tastes as good or better than some of the more expensive gourmet ice cream products. I actually have yet to find a flavor I don't like, but this Black Cherry flavor is a particularly favorite that I'm addicted to. I'm not sure how widely available it is in the USA, but I believe its carried by many of the larger grocery chains in the midwestern states.

    I also should add that I'm somewhat biased here, as I share a hometown with Hudsonville Creamery. :-)
