Low fat milk is NOT good for us. In order to give low fat milk the consistency people are used to in whole milk, they add in dried milk powder, which has oxidized cholesterol! So if you think you're helping you're heart with low fat milk, you're actually causing the bad cholesterol to rise. I wrote more about it here: http://www.kellythekitchenkop.com/2008/02/healthy-milk.html
It's too bad this is ULTRA-pasteurized - it is so far from "natural" that it doesn't even need refrigeration.
This has a great ingredient label - made with palm oil (a healthy fat) and no hydrogenated oils. Great for those times you need shortening, and if you're like me, you wouldn't touch a jar of Crisco!
