I love this broth as a vegetarian base for soups. I made a terrific black bean soup using this broth. Its quick and simple, tastes great. It is organic and low salt, with no added MSG
Instead of buying canned soup, I buy this chicken broth and add fresh or frozen vegetables to make really great, tasty, filling, soups. It doesn't take much effort at all. You can buy a bag of soup vegetables, pour them in with (or without) a can of chopped tomatoes and some garlic powder and salt. Simmer it for 10 minutes, and you have a week of low point lunches, or an appetizer before your main meal. Best of all, its organic, low salt, and doesn't contain MSG.
This is one of the best additions I have made to my regular shopping list in years. It doesn't TASTE fat free at all. You can use it in a number of ways, as substitute for sour cream, in morning smoothie, in dips and salad dressings, and a couple of tablespoons added to some fruit as a mid morning snack. It's very very thick, but if you don't use it all right away, it will develop some water in the fridge.
